GradPro is delighted to announce its new Graduate Artists Programme called GAP

​

This is a unique four-month intensive dance programme that provides ongoing classes throughout the audition season with full support and guidance of the current audition circuit.  It is a perfect solution for those Graduates from the Southern Hemisphere and tailored to fit in with their academic year providing a Northern Hemisphere base within easy reach and contact with Europe, the UK and North American Dance companies.

The programme will run full time Monday to Friday from Monday January 20th to Sunday May 11th 2025, and is ideal for all dance graduates. No audition is necessary. The programme can also be a natural progression from the G2P course currently running in Birmingham. The Graduate Artists Programme will be based in Birmingham and will run under the umbrella of the highly successful and international GradPro initiative. There will also be the opportunity for entry into the regionals of GradPro 2025.

Our Mission

To fully support Graduates through the audition season ensuring that they are fully equipped to approach their professional careers with self-belief, focus and integrity. Whilst on the programme we will continue to uphold the following values, artistry, support, belief, confidence, reward, importance of mentorship, and recognition.

Course Details

The course will run daily from 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday

and will include the following:

  • Full ongoing preparation and support throughout the audition season

  • Personal mentor throughout from leading dance companies.

  • Daily Classical Ballet Classes including Pointe Work

  • Pas de Deux

  • Contemporary Classes and Contact improvisation.

  • Repertoire and Solos including Personal solo choice advice

  • Solos performance evening

  • Self and peer teaching

  • Stagecraft, Mime & Acting, Makeup and Hair

  • Company etiquette

  • Body conditioning and pilates, gyrotonics.
